How Botox works
Botulinum toxin type A temporarily blocks the nerve signals that tell certain facial muscles to contract. When those muscles relax, the lines they create soften.
Most patients notice a change within 24 to 48 hours, with full effect around two weeks. Results typically last three to four months, after which the muscle gradually returns to normal activity.

What to expect
A session takes about 15 to 20 minutes. There's no anesthesia and no downtime — most patients return to work the same day. Avoid lying flat, exercising, or massaging the treated area for four hours afterward.
Mild redness or small bumps at injection sites are normal and usually resolve within an hour. Bruising is possible but uncommon.
Is Botox right for you?
Botox treats dynamic lines — the ones that appear when you move your face. Lines visible at complete rest are usually better addressed with dermal fillers, and we'll tell you if that's the case rather than selling you a treatment that won't work.
Botox isn't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions. We review your history before treating.

The Good Faith Exam comes first
Two things happen before a neurotoxin appointment, and neither is a surprise at the counter. A consultation is required prior to treatment, and certain treatments also require a Good Faith Exam.
A Good Faith Exam is a short medical evaluation, $35, about ten minutes. A licensed healthcare provider reviews your health history, your medications, your allergies and what you want out of the treatment, and approves the service before it goes ahead. It is a safety step, and it is the reason a nurse-led practice can say yes to the right treatment and no to the wrong one.
We would rather you read that here than meet it at the counter. It is charged once, before treatment, not per visit thereafter.
We accept CareCredit, Afterpay and Cherry
Alongside the usual cards. Each is applied for through the provider, not through us, and approval and terms are between you and them. Ask at your appointment which of the three covers the treatment you are booking — coverage is not the same across every service.
